Principal

I'm a seasoned financial and tax professional who thrives in helping business owners and executives accomplish their business and personal financial goals.
 
I started my accounting career right after college at a Big 4 accounting firm, developing expertise in finding solutions for complex financial and tax issues that keep business owners up at night.
 
In addition to accounting and taxation, I have extensive background in personal financial planning for business owners and executives, including business succession planning, stock compensation planning, tax-optimized wealth transfer planning, and other sophisticated strategies.

A lifelong learner, I've attained several other professional credentials, including the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®), ​Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations. I'm also a Certified Advisor for Xero, a premier accounting software for entrepreneurial businesses. I also write and speak frequently on business and estate planning topics, and have taught college finance courses.
 
You couldn't tell from looking at me, but I actually enjoy going to the gym and working out. I claim to be a golfer, but no one in my foursome is willing to vouch for me. I'm also multi-lingual, equally fluent in English, Japanese, and Korean.​
